Job Summary
Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 100-130 business clients with annual revenue of $1-$5 million by providing deposit and cash management solutions and managing credit opportunities up to $500,000. Deliver customized business banking solutions through regular in-person calls with prospects, centers of influence, and existing clients to build long-term primary banking relationships. Identify client financial goals and collaborate with partners across Chase Wealth Management and Home Lending to connect clients with specialists. Use knowledge of business, finance, and risk management to recommend profitable solutions while adhering to regulatory requirements and sound risk protocols. Balance client needs with firm interests by determining daily priorities and escalating issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- General business experience and knowledge of business credit
- Understanding of core business products and services
- Understanding of general business practices and how business needs vary by industry/market
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
- Ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Ability to balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm
- Ability to recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Ability to determine and balance priorities on a daily basis
- Ability to achieve business objectives
- Demonstrated ability to own problems on clients' behalf
- Ability to follow through with commitment
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
