Job Summary
Business Relationship Manager I focused on managing a portfolio of 70–90 business clients with $1–$5M annual revenue across branches, delivering tailored banking solutions, deposits, cash management, and credit opportunities up to $500,000. Regular in-person client visits, collaboration across Chase lines of business, risk-management adherence, and proactive client development to foster long-term relationships. Strong emphasis on financial and relationship-building skills, cross-functional collaboration, and sustained profitability of the portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- General business experience and knowledge of business credit, understanding of core business products and services with understanding of general business practices and how business needs vary by industry/market
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Determine and balance priorities on a daily basis to achieve business objectives with demonstrated ability to own problems on clients’ behalf and follow through with commitment
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
