Job Summary
Business Relationship Manager I handling a portfolio of 70–90 business clients with $1–$5M annual revenue, providing tailored financial solutions, deposits, cash management, and credit opportunities up to ~$500,000. Conducts in-person client visits, collaborates with partners across Chase lines (Wealth Management, Home Lending, Branch Teams), and focuses on client experience, risk management, and profitability while building and maintaining long-term banking relationships. Emphasizes understanding client needs, recommending suitable banking products, and adhering to regulatory requirements. Requires strong communication, relationship-building, and proficiency in MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- General business experience and knowledge of business credit, understanding of core business products and services with understanding of general business practices and how business needs vary by industry/market
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Determine and balance priorities on a daily basis to achieve business objectives with demonstrated ability to own problems on clients’ behalf and follow through with commitment
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
