Job Summary
Business Relationship Manager I will manage a portfolio of 70–90 business clients with annual revenue of $1–$5 million for assigned branches, providing tailored business banking solutions, deposits, cash management, and credit opportunities up to $500,000. Regular in-person client calls and collaboration with internal partners across lines of business will be used to identify needs, promote solutions, and ensure portfolio profitability. The role emphasizes relationship development, risk management, and adherence to regulatory requirements, with close coordination across Chase Wealth Management, Home Lending, and Branch Teams to connect clients with specialists. Strong communication, financial acumen in business banking, and proficiency with MS Office are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- General business experience and knowledge of business credit, understanding of core business products and services with understanding of general business practices and how business needs vary by industry/market
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Determine and balance priorities on a daily basis to achieve business objectives with demonstrated ability to own problems on clients’ behalf and follow through with commitment
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
