Job Summary
Business Relationship Manager I in Business Banking, responsible for acquiring, managing, and retaining a portfolio of 70–90 business clients with annual revenue of $1–$5 million for assigned branches; provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to approximately $500,000. Deliver tailored banking solutions, leverage knowledge of finance, banking, credit, and risk management to optimize client profitability, and maintain strong relationships through in-person client visits. Collaborate with partners across lines of business to connect clients with specialists, and support branch teams by adhering to risk and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- General business experience and knowledge of business credit, understanding of core business products and services with understanding of general business practices and how business needs vary by industry/market
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Determine and balance priorities on a daily basis to achieve business objectives with demonstrated ability to own problems on clients’ behalf and follow through with commitment
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
