Job Summary
Senior SAP AI Engineer to translate business requirements into production-ready SAP AI solutions using SAP AI Foundation and CAP/Fiori, including building Generative AI use cases on SAP BTP, SAP AI Core pipelines, and end-to-end SAP applications with AI augmentation. Responsibilities include collaborating with customers across the delivery lifecycle, designing multi-agent and conversational AI solutions, enabling agent-based workflows across SAP and non-SAP systems, mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, contributing to pre-sales through PoCs/demos, and supporting Agile delivery. Required: 5+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in SAP BTP/AI in enterprise SAP environments; strong Python and API skills; SAP CAP (Node.js/Java) and SAP Fiori/UI5 experience; proficiency in German and English; deep knowledge of SAP AI technologies (Foundation, Joule, Generative AI Hub, RAG architectures, Agentic AI, and integration via SAP Integration Suite). This role sits in SAP’s Cross-Solution Delivery Business AI team and emphasizes mentoring, collaboration, and ongoing innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in SAP BTP development and/or AI/ML engineering in enterprise SAP environments
- Proven track record delivering production-grade SAP AI solutions across full project lifecycles
- Professional fluency in German (B2+) and English (C1+)
