Job Summary
Business Process & Specifications Expert within R&D at Intersnack Group. Drive harmonisation by establishing standard procedures, align specifications with ERP/PLM, manage approval workflows with Product Development, Quality, and Procurement, support rollout of a global PLM solution (including UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, Post-Go-Live), train users, ensure data migration accuracy, and continuously improve PLM-related processes. Requires a degree in Food Science/Technology or Chemical Engineering, FMCG/R&D experience, PLM system exposure (Infor Optiva a plus), strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work internationally, and travel about 20%. Fluency in English. Remote option: hybrid in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Solid experience in FMCG (ideally food industry) and R&D processes
- Experience working with specification systems and workflow-based databases (e.g., PLM systems such as Infor Optiva is a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
- Understanding of processes within the food production environment
- Results-driven mindset and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate in an international environment
- Fluency in English
- Travel approximately 20%
