Job Summary
Facilitate business process re-engineering by performing activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, and identifying best practices to create process change. Integrate new processes with existing systems while communicating updates to impacted Business Systems teams and recommending quality improvement efforts. Apply process improvement methodologies to conduct modernization projects, including training, methodology development, and evaluation across all phases. Communicate verbally and in writing with business and technical personnel at all levels. Requires a BA/BS with four years of relevant experience, one year in business process re-engineering, and a Tier 3 security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS required
- four (4) years of relevant experience
- One (1) years of experience in business process re-engineering
- demonstrated, increasing responsibilities within this field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to negotiate outcomes
- create frequent business presentations
- Experience with EDI/XML electronic data exchange
- specific logistics function (e.g., finance, supply, contract administration, transportation and operations research)
- first-hand knowledge of DoD/Component policies
- first-hand knowledge of Business procedures
- first-hand knowledge of Business rules
- first-hand knowledge of Data standards and transaction standards (both DLMS and legacy formats)
- first-hand knowledge of Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP)
- first-hand knowledge of Military Standard Transaction Reporting and Accountability Procedures (MILSTRAP)
- first-hand knowledge of Military Standard Billing System (MILSBILLS)
- first-hand knowledge of Supply Discrepancy Reporting (SDR) and Web SDR
- first-hand knowledge of DoD Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD)/Military Assistance Program Address Directory (MAPAD)
- first-hand knowledge of Logistics Metrics Analysis Reporting System (LMARS)
- first-hand knowledge of Physical Inventory
- first-hand knowledge of Federal cataloging data standards
- first-hand knowledge of Materiel technical data standards
- first-hand knowledge of Transaction standards in support of seamless integration with the supply/logistics domain
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance
- Tier 3 (T3) security clearance
