Job Summary
Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance plant performance and operational results by facilitating root cause problem solving and implementing sustainable corrective actions. Coach and develop leaders and team members on lean principles, while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes, workflows, and production systems. Identify improvement opportunities independently and drive solutions from concept through implementation, supporting the Lean Management System and 5S culture. Promote a safe, collaborative, and accountable work environment. This role will be based at the Mt. Pleasant facility with up to 25% travel to US plants and distribution facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience leading continuous improvement, operational excellence, engineering, or manufacturing initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project leadership skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across all levels of an organization
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- This role will be based at our Mt. Pleasant facility
- Expected travel up to 25%
Desired Qualifications
- Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and process transformation initiatives
- Manufacturing operations experience
- Lean certification or equivalent continuous improvement training preferred
