Job Summary
Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance plant performance and operational results by facilitating root cause problem solving and implementing sustainable corrective actions. Coach leaders and team members on lean principles, deliver training to strengthen organizational capabilities, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, workflows, and production systems. Independently identify improvement opportunities, drive solutions from concept through implementation, and lead large-scale projects delivering measurable business results. Support the Lean Management System and 5S culture while promoting a safe, collaborative, and accountable work environment. This role supports east coast plants and regional distribution centers with 25-50% travel expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience leading continuous improvement, operational excellence, engineering, or manufacturing initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project leadership skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across all levels of an organization
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- This role will support our plants and regional distribution centers on the east coast
- Travel expected 25 - 50%
Desired Qualifications
- Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and process transformation initiatives
- Manufacturing operations experience
- Lean certification or equivalent continuous improvement training preferred
