Job Summary
Oversee the intake process for automation requests, assessing technical feasibility and maintaining a prioritized project pipeline. Lead end-to-end delivery from proof-of-concept to production deployment, guiding cross-functional teams of developers, business analysts, and QA testers. Partner with process owners and executive leadership to define requirements, document workflows, and communicate project status and risks. Ensure all solutions comply with IT governance and security protocols while enforcing coding standards and robust documentation. Define and monitor SLAs for automation support, conducting post-implementation reviews to validate business benefits and optimize delivery methodologies. This volunteer role offers direct collaboration with a global leadership team spanning 70+ countries, providing real ownership and decision-making authority within a mission-driven organization.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical project or delivery management
- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies and structured change control processes
- Deep functional knowledge of leading automation technologies
- High-level operational understanding of enterprise software ecosystems, cloud platforms, and APIs
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive reporting skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms
- Consistent weekly availability (10–15 hrs)
- Timely communication and responsiveness across async tools
- Full ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow-through
- Active participation in team meetings and operational workflows
