Job Summary
Establish, implement, and enhance budget, actuals, and forecast management for Rakuten Mobile's P&L performance. Provide deep insights into business performance through management reports to support critical management decisions and serve as a financial business partner for various units. Lead ad-hoc projects within Rakuten Mobile and across the group, including business transfers and productivity improvements, while offering consultation to domestic and international subsidiaries. Manage the balance between profitability and investment to ensure sustained growth. Fluent in Japanese and English required; 10+ years of experience in quantitative financial roles.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in highly quantitative financial roles, demonstrating a clear progression of growth
- Thorough understanding of, and extensive experience with, accounting, financial statement analysis, and financial projection modeling
- Strong project management skills, coupled with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex financial data and concepts clearly and effectively
- A highly motivated, proactive individual with the ability to think strategically, drive change across a global organization, and build strong, trusted relationships at multiple levels
- Fluent in Japanese and English (both spoken and written)
