Business & Partnerships Officer

Business & Partnerships Officer role focusing on building strong relationships with local employers to secure employment, training, and work placement opportunities for programme participants within the Sustainable Communities team. Key duties include developing and managing employer relationships, maintaining employer engagement information, coordinating with employer coalitions and Chambers of Commerce, delivering employer programmes and engagement activities, brokering work experience and supported employment opportunities for participants, aligning development routes with labour market opportunities, supporting recruitment with the employment team, and delivering new and existing projects to progress organisational objectives. The role requires a UK driving license and access to a vehicle, and involves interacting with local employers, understanding local labour market priorities, and fostering links with statutory and non-statutory organisations; office and field-based with flexible working arrangements and occasional after-hours work.
