Job Summary
Partner with International business and Finance stakeholders to understand commercial drivers, identify risks, and support informed decisions. Translate complex financial and non-financial information into executive-ready insights, narratives, and presentation materials for International leadership. Build an integrated view across countries and product areas by connecting performance metrics and coordinating with country Finance teams, product partners, and specialists to gather inputs and test assumptions. Investigate emerging trends across products and geographies while contributing high-quality analysis to growth, productivity, and capital priorities. Take ownership of analytical deliverables from data sourcing and modelling through to recommendations, and improve reporting efficiency by standardizing and automating processes. Support planning, outlook, and scenario analysis to help stakeholders understand performance against expectations. Full-time role based in Melbourne, requiring advanced Excel proficiency, financial modelling skills, and a tertiary qualification in finance or accounting.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation and basic automation
- Financial modelling, quantitative analysis, data reconciliation and sound accounting fundamentals
- Analytical judgement, accuracy, clear communication and ownership
- Confidence using AI tools efficiently and collaborating across international teams and time zones
- A tertiary qualification in finance and accounting; a professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or progress towards one
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of banking or financial services
- Interest in macroeconomics and financial markets
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting or performance management
- Budgeting/forecasting, Power BI/Tableau or SQL/Python exposure
