Job Summary
Remote is seeking a Business Operations Manager to drive cross-functional execution within EOR Operations. You will lead end-to-end improvement of operating mechanisms, partner with senior leaders across EOR Ops, enable scalable delivery, and implement AI-enabled enhancements. The role emphasizes cross-domain visibility, stakeholder alignment, measurement of impact, and the development of reusable SOP patterns to reduce misrouting and duplicate work. You will own recurring reporting inputs on efficiency, quality, throughput, and risk signals, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. The position requires strong project management, stakeholder influence without direct authority, data-informed decision making, exceptional written communication, and a proactive ownership mindset. Prior experience in business operations or a similar role, ability to translate ambiguity into concrete delivery, and a passion for improving systems and processes are essential. The job involves collaboration with Product/Engineering, Legal, Customer Success, Finance, and EOR leadership and may require flexibility to support multiple surfaces (e.g., Payroll + PEO + EOR).Remote work is core to the role with an emphasis on async collaboration and global reach. Salary ranges are globally informed and reflect location and role specifics; the role is full-time with a global, distributed team.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business operations, program/project management, operational excellence, or a similar cross-functional role (ideally in EOR Operations or adjacent operating environment)
- Strong project management skills with ability to take ambiguous, multi-stakeholder work from problem definition through delivery, adoption, and measurement
- Ability to facilitate alignment across teams with differing priorities and influence outcomes without direct authority
- Experience using AI to improve workflows and to inform solution design where it meaningfully increases quality, speed, or clarity
- Comfort with operational metrics and reporting (e.g., Sigma, Zendesk, Google Sheets) and translating data into clear insights and recommendations
- Clear writing and transparent async communication
- Self-directed with high ownership and follow-through
- Enjoys improving systems and scalable processes
- Ability to move quickly with deliberate judgment regarding trade-offs, risk, and escalation as needed
- Experience leading cross-functional projects from ideation to execution
- Ability to identify operational gaps across domains and coordinate remediation with accountable owners
