Job Summary
Operations Analyst in Home Lending focused on loan sales; responsible for end-to-end loan sales operations, pooling and allocation, defect remediation, and ensuring investor and regulatory data integrity. Drives automation initiatives to improve processes, Develops tools to reduce manual work, creates clear management reporting, and communicates risks and project status to leadership. Collaborates with audit, compliance, and cross-functional teams to uphold procedures and controls, and supports ongoing process improvements and salability initiatives. Requires strong analytical abilities, proficiency with PowerPoint/Excel, and familiarity with mortgage-focused software systems; preferred background includes 3–5 years in Mortgage Banking and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Business Administration, or Computer Science.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s-level education in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Business Administration, or Computer Science
- 3–5 years in Mortgage Banking
- Knowledge of mortgage operating systems including Black Knight, FHLMC Loan Selling Advisor, FNMA Loan Delivery, and GNMA SFPDM
- Analytical, data-driven problem solving
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; working knowledge of Alteryx, UiPath, Xceptor, or Tableau
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Executive-ready reporting and presenting skills
- Ability to manage risks and controls in coordination with audit/compliance teams
