Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations of the senior living community's financial operations and revenue cycle. Manage accounts receivable and billing for Medicaid, Medicare, HMO, Veterans Administration, and private pay; maintain resident files and confidential information; issue delinquent notices and forward past-due accounts to collections; ensure timely and accurate resident financial records and trust fund management; perform data entry for admissions/discharges, daily census, and billing; manage daily bank deposits and cash posting; process rate increases; collaborate with admissions, nursing, and corporate teams; verify insurance eligibility/benefits; monitor DSO within company goals; respond to resident/family/vendor questions; participate in month-end close and compliance with policies; utilize Point Click Care and Microsoft Office; develop PCC expertise; participate in manager-on-duty; attend community events and trainings; maintain confidentiality and safe working practices; required to have two years of experience in senior living/related financial management and preferred associate/bachelor degree.
Required Qualifications
- Level of Formal Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or business, or two years of experience as a business office manager in senior living skilled care preferred.
