Job Summary
Lead and oversee all financial and administrative operations of the Business Office in a long-term care setting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Manage daily operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, and Resident Trust Accounts while processing bi-weekly payroll accurately. Maintain census records, resolve discrepancies, and submit required reports for Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payors. Follow up on past-due accounts with proper documentation and communicate with residents, responsible parties, insurance companies, and agencies. Assist with onboarding, maintain employee files, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or Business Office experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Dependable, solution-focused, and able to work independently

- AR/AP experience
