Job Summary
Manage the Business Office for the facility: oversee accounts receivable, admissions, bank deposits, census, and resident trust funds; supervise receptionist and maintain business office systems; drive monthly billing across Private, Share of Cost, Hospice, Medicare, Medicaid/Cal, VA, and related entities; perform collections, Medi-Cal eligibility submissions, E-TAR tracking, and ensure billing compliance; handle remittances, month-end processes, refunds, write-offs, and adjustments; participate in AR aging reviews, BOM meetings, and regulatory reporting; utilize SNF AR platforms (PCC, RFMS) and payer portals (Inovalon, Waystar, Office Ally, DDE, Medicaid/Cal Portal, Manager Care Portal); require strong teamwork, communication, and adherence to policies; exposure to 24-hour residential care environment and related safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in SNF or long-term care billing environment preferred
- Proficiency with AR/Billing systems (PCC, RFMS, payer portals)
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage accounts receivable, billing, collections, and trust accounts
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Medi-Cal processes and eligibility
- Ability to communicate with residents, families, staff, and regulatory bodies
