Job Summary
The Business Office Manager will establish and maintain a system of financial recordkeeping including ledgers, payments, receipts, and bank deposits. The role involves planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the facility’s accounting functions under the Administrator's supervision, maintaining accounts payable systems, assisting in preparing monthly financial statements, and preparing financial and statistical reports. Candidates must have experience in a nursing home billing role, strong communication skills, and preferred leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the billing role of a nursing home is required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree from accredited college with specialization in business or accounting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior leadership/supervisor experience strongly preferred
