Job Summary
Oversee financial and administrative operations for a long-term care facility as a Business Office Manager, including accounts receivable, billing operations, processing Medicare/MSP/Managed Care and insurance claims, managing resident trust funds, ensuring timely monthly billing (Medicare/HMO by the 5th), training staff for robust backup coverage, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on admissions, discharges, and payer changes; accountable for accuracy of PCC records and general office tasks while supporting compliance and patient rights.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in accounts receivable and general financial processes
- Proficient in typing, 10-key entry, and general computer use
- Clear English communication, verbal and written
- Meets deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
- Cares genuinely for elderly and disabled individuals
