Job Summary
Business Office Manager responsible for maintaining center business office policies and procedures and supervising the Assistant BOM. Collaborates with the Executive Director, Regional Team, and external clients such as families and outside agencies. Requires 3–5 years in a Long Term Care business office, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting or related field, supervisory experience, and a solid understanding of Medicare/Medicaid, private insurance, and financial operations (A/R, A/P, general ledger, and information systems). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and strong communication and decision-making skills are essential. Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in the business office of a Long Term Care facility
- College degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or related field
- Prior supervisory experience and management training
- Must possess a thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Managed Care costing and analysis, personnel management, accounts receivable/collections, resident funds, accounts payable, general ledger, and management of information systems
- Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
