Job Summary
Business Office Manager for Avante at Lake Worth skilled nursing facility. Responsible for facility billing and collections, including resident accounts, collection calls/letters, maintaining resident trust and petty cash, and handling all aspects of accounts payable. Supports PDP applications, prepares Medicare determinations, reconciles trust funds, and manages Medicare/Medicaid processes and related write-offs. Requires strong organizational, numerical, and computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Full duties include daily resident account management, consolidated billing, bank deposits, and ensuring compliance with applicable screening requirements. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience or technical training in medical billing
- Must have good organization skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to problem solve
- Must be computer literate, ability to use Word, Outlook and Excel
- Good communication skills
- Must be a team player
