Job Summary
Manage the facility's business office functions including accounts receivable/payable, resident funds, census-related activities, and reporting; coordinate with Central Billing on Medicare/Medicaid/private insurance and other payors; ensure timely payments, logs, and compliance with regulations—oversee billing accuracy, timely admissions financial obligations, and monthly reconciliation; maintain and audit resident trust funds and financial records; prepare and review reports, census data, and cost reimbursement tracking; support center meetings and governance related to billing and financial operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Business or Accounting fields; and/or experience in business office operations in long term care or healthcare related field, preferred.
- Possess effective communication skills to maintain positive relationship with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies, their representatives and the community.
- Current knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
