Business Office Director responsible for payroll and accounting control functions, recruitment, background checks, benefits, risk management, and supervising department staff in a senior living community. Requires overseeing payroll, personnel files, onboarding/orientation, and ensuring safety standards; emphasizes collaboration with other departments, training of staff, and proficiency in MS Office. Willingness to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends to ensure department coverage. Located in a senior living setting with experience in accounting, HR, and payroll preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • College course or other education in business administration and/or management preferred
  • Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees
  • Prefer two (2) years of experience in accounting, human resources, and payroll. Preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests
  • Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively train staff
  • Flexibility in work schedule as evidenced by working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts when necessary to ensure adequate coverage within the department
