Job Summary
Manage the community's business office by producing and managing accounts receivable, executing month-end closing, and overseeing payroll. Coordinate resident contracts, renewals, and move-in processes while acting as the primary contact for billing and human resources inquiries. Direct front desk staff through recruiting, training, and supervision, ensuring full compliance with regulatory guidelines and documentation. Work with the Executive Director to maintain budget adherence and handle new hire orientations. Requires 3-5 years of experience in business office management, finance, or human resources, with knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Ability to work evenings and weekends as part of the manager-on-duty rotation.
Required Qualifications
- A High School diploma
- At least 3-5 years of experience in business office management, finance, human resources, or accounting
- Knowledge of various computer systems and CRM software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Working knowledge of general accounting, billing, collections, and expense management
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for serving seniors
- A high degree of accuracy in all assignments
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently
- Employing professional ethics and high integrity
- Capacity to work evenings and/or weekends when needed
- Previous experience working in independent living (IL), assisted living (AL), memory care (MC), or senior living
