Job Summary
The Business Office Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, assisting with sales, auction, and appraisal processes. Key responsibilities include cash management, processing and auditing sales paperwork, answering customer inquiries, and managing titles and registration paperwork with the state DMV. Associates must possess strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and maintain confidentiality. This role requires both clerical duties and direct customer interactions, working with a multi-line phone system, and is geared towards individuals who thrive in a busy office atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data for accurate record keeping
- Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing
- Experience in providing customer service and handling customer questions
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 15-20 lbs
- Complete CarMax provided training as required
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
- Above average organizational skills and attention to detail
