Job Summary
The Business Office Assistant supports nursing and business-office operations by maintaining the nursing schedule, assisting the Business Office Manager with accounting data entry and collection, maintaining trust and census records, billing, and residents’ accounts receivable statements. Responsibilities include managing Admission/Financial files, guiding Medicaid through the approval process, and assisting residents and families with admissions paperwork and financial assistance applications. Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), accounting/bookkeeping skills, proficiency in Microsoft products, and knowledge of HR practices; healthcare/post-acute care experience is a plus.
