Job Summary
Greet visitors and students, review and process accounts receivable transactions including daily deposits and refund checks, and disburse student loan checks via electronic funds transfer. Manage past due accounts by analyzing aging reports and completing collection calls while adhering to billing procedures. Coordinate department materials, input data into office systems, and organize physical and electronic records. Answer phone inquiries, take messages, and provide administrative support to the department. Maintain accurate financial records and uphold confidentiality in a fast-paced environment supporting student services and business operations.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED
- Associates degree or higher in accounting or finance
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with accounting principals, cash handling, and collections calls / activities
- Experience with databases and inventory ordering systems
- Organize and prioritize tasks
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Basic proficiency with MS Office productivity software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Excel)
- Proficient using ten key
