Job Summary
Provides administrative and clerical support to the Business Office, including assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Supports the Business Office Manager with A/R, A/P, Billing and resident account functions; performs routine office duties (mailings, telephones, filing), maintains census and resident information, completes weekly discharge/admission reports, assists with month-end close, coordinates equipment repairs, orders supplies, and serves as evening receptionist with every other weekend schedule. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of office experience; proficient with computers and Microsoft Office; strong communication and confidentiality skills; ability to assist with billing/collection tasks and maintain accurate records.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in an office environment
- Experience with Accounts Receivable preferred
- Experience with Accounts Payable preferred
- Knowledge of billing and collection practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members
- Skilled in the use of computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information
