Job Summary
Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One amid shifting consumer and regulatory demands. Partner with Product Managers and Software Engineers to design, build, and scale core platform features for the Commercial Bank's Pricing Model, including AI-driven deal decisioning and real-time monitoring. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize user experience, generate actionable recommendations, and refine product functionality. Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting future consumer credit trends to historical behavior and creating risk models. Manage and sequence delivery of business intent while overseeing multiple projects and programs concurrently. Work closely with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other enterprise colleagues to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis
- A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
- A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in analysis
- 2+ years of experience in financial services
- 1+ year of experience in consulting
- 2+ years of experience in people management
