Job Summary
Achieve budgeted goals for your area of accountability by leading analysis and development of marketing plans, product promotions, advertising, in-store displays, merchandising strategies, and inventory forecasting. Execute new strategic initiatives for assigned categories while interpreting sales data to assist senior leadership and negotiate supplier commission rates to grow revenue. Attract, develop, and retain key talent by hiring, coaching, and guiding direct reports to ensure succession planning and team alignment with customer and enterprise goals. Manage assigned categories through the LAMP framework to identify critical initiatives and relationships, fostering thought leadership within the account team. Collaborate with internal and external marketing resources to deliver consultative solutions that influence buyers and drive category performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of professional work experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Business as field of study or area of experience
- 3-5 Years of experience in building and nurturing brands
- Basic Computer Skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, & web browsers
- Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills
- Conflict Management Skills
- Decision Making Skills
- Strong Prioritizing Skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Track Record of Building & Maintaining Customer/Client Relationships
- Ability to Visualize & Plan Objectives & Goals Strategically
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
