Business Manager - Motor Control & Protection

Job Summary
Develop product and portfolio strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and customer success for the Motor Control & Protection segment. Create short- and long-range business plans aligned with market trends, leading the annual Portfolio Review process. Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop commercial strategies, while building relationships with suppliers, channel partners, and industry organizations. Define product line architecture, functional requirements, and pricing strategies to achieve financial targets. Lead product launches, promotions, and commercialization activities including sales enablement, training, and trade show participation. Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and guide strategic decisions. Manage product lifecycle activities, including enhancements, rationalization, and obsolescence planning, while supporting product development execution through cross-functional coordination. Coach and develop Product Management employees to enhance performance and strengthen organizational capability. Lead the team to achieve business, portfolio, and financial goals through strategic partnerships and alignment with Engineering, Operations, and Sales.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 10% of time
- 8+ years of combined experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Technical Sales supporting industrial customers
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- Experience leading and aligning cross-functional and cross-organizational teams
- Experience developing and executing commercial strategies that drive market growth and business performance
- Experience translating customer insights into product strategies, product development priorities, and compelling value propositions
- Experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Technical Sales within the industrial automation industry
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems, motor control technologies, and industrial control platforms
