Job Summary
Grow Nedbank's commercial banking revenue by acquiring new commercial clients with annual turnover between R30m and R1b, through prospecting and networking; act as a trusted advisor to commercial clients in specialised Industries (Agri; Franchise, Fintech, Manufacturing) via ongoing professional development; stay abreast of economic trends (e.g., green energy, sustainable agriculture) and apply insights to client engagements; identify acquisition opportunities through ecosystem analysis and unlock value across the value chain; generate revenue through proactive cross-sell strategies using industry and banking knowledge; conduct in-depth financial needs analysis to identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities; conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify value-add opportunities; engage with clients to provide financial solutions, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and present tailor-made solutions to meet client needs; manage all business risks and ensure regulatory compliance; partner with credit manager to manage credit risk; prepare and present large, complex credit applications across multiple entities and shareholders; leverage subject matter expertise to support digitization of clients and drive sustainable development goals in line with Nedbank's purpose
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Matric/Grade 12/National Senior Certificate
- Preferred Qualification: BCom (Financial Management/Accounting) or BSc Agri
- Minimum Experience Level: 7-10 years
- Experience in Relationship Management within the financial sector
- Experience in Business Acquisition
- Experience in Sales and Deal Origination in a Commercial environment
