Job Summary
Manage and grow engagement with medical customers by identifying influencers, developing long-term relationships, and landing new business through effective marketing and value proposition communication. Lead specific project or account teams without direct reports to drive quote activity, new product introductions, and product sustaining efforts while maintaining Salesforce.com data accuracy. Work independently in a remote capacity, ideally based in the Mid-west or east coast, with extensive travel requirements to support global sourcing, engineering, and divisional teams across the US, Mexico, China, Thailand, Romania, and Poland.
Required Qualifications
- Working independently and remote from Kimball Electronics facilities
- Ideally based in the Mid-west or east coast
- Other locations may also be considered
- The ability to identify influencers and decision makers to build connections and identify new opportunities
- Experience with medical customers
- Understanding of medical quality and regulatory requirements
- Understanding of what it takes to grow revenue at pace
- The ability to lead specific project or account teams (without direct reports) in support of assigned customer needs
- Detailed orientated and responsive to customer needs
- The ability to maintain salesforce.com customer, opportunity and quote data
- Experienced in the development of cost models and proposals that surpass customer expectations
- Good appreciation of strategy development and build out of an execution plan
- Leading teams (without direct reports) through quote activity, new product introduction and product sustaining activities
- The ability to work with all levels of the organization (Customers and internal to KEI)
- A willingness to travel extensively; both in the USA and internationally
- An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to resolve issues and provide creative solutions
- Technically astute with Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) experience
- Knowledge of associated manufacturing processes
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
