Job Summary
Contract new business, sell and close deals to generate finance income on all sold customers. Complete paperwork for vehicle sales and leases, verify transactions, and collect all money at closing. Seek bank approval for financed and leased deals, promote Credit Life/Accident & Health sales, and solicit extended warranty sales. Handle cancellations for warranties and credit life while understanding all lender programs and rate options. This role supports the dealership family by selling finance and insurance programs to new- and used-vehicle customers ethically. Success requires strong communication skills to explain product features and benefits effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- six months to one year related experience
- related training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
