Job Summary
Business Manager, Consumer Identity at Capital One drives strategy and analytics to protect customers’ identities from Fraud and to optimize customer-centric analysis. The role partners with Product Managers, Engineering and Design to evaluate identity tools, optimize policy, set a strategic roadmap with platform teams, respond to and mitigate Fraud attacks, establish Credit Risk infrastructure, and build frameworks to assess customer experiences and leverage cross-LOB data for Fraud and other high-leverage use cases. It requires a strong analytical orientation, ability to influence through data, and leadership responsibilities, including coaching 1–2 analysts, while collaborating across IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and other partners to deliver growth, profitability, and improved customer outcomes. A background in quantitative analysis, strategy development, and experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment are valued; sponsorship for qualified applicants is noted and the role emphasizes executive communication and decision-making based on analytics.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis
- A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
