Job Summary
Manage financial operations for the apartment community, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, rent processing, and budget implementation. Oversee leasing from initial inquiries to move-ins, maintain resident files, and ensure compliance with fair housing laws. Handle resident relations, address concerns, and conduct apartment tours to maintain maximum occupancy. Be prepared to assume the role of person-in-charge when the Community Manager is absent. Perform general office tasks, organize resident events, and enforce community policies. This full-time position offers a pay range of $24.00 - $30.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in affordable apartment communities
- Experience with affordable properties, HUD, Low Income Tax Credit (LIHTC), and Section 8
- strong understanding of the day-to-day operations of a multi-family apartment community, including leasing, financial reporting, and resident services
- demonstrated success in maintaining high occupancy rates in apartment communities
- physically able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
- proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- passing a background check

- drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- experience with Yardi and/or MRI
