Job Summary
Manage financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and rent processing while supporting asset management through budget implementation and cost control. Oversee leasing from initial inquiries to move-ins, maintain accurate resident files, and handle resident relations by addressing concerns and fostering a positive environment. Conduct apartment tours, process applications, and organize resident events to ensure maximum occupancy. Be prepared to assume the role of person-in-charge when the Community Manager is absent. Full-time position with full benefits; pay range $27.00 - $28.40 per hour. Located at La Costa Paloma in Carlsbad, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in affordable property management
- strong understanding of the day-to-day operations of a multi-family apartment community, including leasing, financial reporting, and resident services
- demonstrated success in maintaining high occupancy rates in apartment communities
- proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- physically able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
- This position is contingent upon passing a background check, employment verification, and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- experience with Yardi and/or MRI is a plus
