Job Summary
Business Manager role at Charlie’s Produce tasked with running day-to-day business operations of wholesale produce. You’ll act as the go-between for Sales and Purchasing to monitor pricing, margins, programs, and reporting to drive profitable growth. Responsibilities include profitability and pricing analysis across sales channels, building and maintaining pricing strategies, coordinating with Sales on customer pricing, ensuring program/contract alignment, delivering clear leadership reporting, and supporting office/billing/administrative functions. You’ll also manage inbound invoices, vendor/bills to Accounts Payable, inventory and supplies, travel bookings, and participate in cross-team projects, IT coordination, and efficiency improvements. Requires at least 5 years in Finance/Accounting/Business Management, wholesale/produce or fast-moving distribution experience, strong communication, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and proficiency with spreadsheets/MS Access. This is a safety-sensitive position with E-Verify participation and no H-1B sponsorship. Pay range is provided as a good faith estimate; final compensation depends on qualifications and location.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business Manager Role
- Experience in wholesale, produce, foodservice, or a fast-moving distribution environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of internal and external customers
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to track and monitor programs using a detailed spreadsheet or MS Access system
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
- Strong analytical skills relating to mathematical calculations, logical/relational similarities, and problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
