Business Manager (Assistant Property Manager) - Part-Time

On-site role supporting day-to-day operations of a conventional apartment community in Portland, OR. The Business Manager (Assistant Community Manager) handles both on-site accounting and leasing responsibilities and serves as the person-in-charge in the Community Manager’s absence. Responsibilities include managing financial operations (accounts payable/receivable, rent processing), assisting with asset management (budgets, financial reports, cost control), overseeing the leasing process from inquiries to move-ins, maintaining resident files, supporting marketing to fill vacancies, ensuring high occupancy, delivering excellent resident service, maintaining proper documentation for leased units, enforcing community policies and fair housing guidelines, and performing general office tasks. The role also involves coordinating resident events and building community relationships, with readiness to step in as PIC when needed. The position requires 1-2 years of property management experience, with supervisory experience preferred, and proficiency with MS Office; Yardi/MRI experience is a plus.
