Job Summary
The Business Manager (Assistant Community Manager) at The Parks at Fig Garden in Fresno, CA oversees on-site accounting and leasing, and serves as person-in-charge in the Community Manager’s absence. Responsibilities include accounts payable/receivable, rent processing, budgeting and asset management support, overseeing the leasing process from inquiry to move-in, maintaining resident files and move-in/move-out records, assisting with marketing to fill vacancies, ensuring high occupancy, delivering strong resident relations and customer service, enforcing policies and fair housing guidelines, coordinating with the Community Manager on policies and regulatory compliance, and performing general office tasks. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected, with experience in Yardi and/or MRI a plus. Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds is noted. The role requires 1-2 years in affordable apartment communities, with LIHTC experience and supervisory experience preferred; salary is $23.00-$25.00 per hour, full benefits, and a contingent background/drug screening process.
Required Qualifications
