Job Summary
Business Management Analyst role focusing on program cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple programs. Responsibilities include developing cost estimates, invoicing, customer proposals, negotiations, and supporting audits. Day-to-day activities involve generating performance baselines, analyzing variances, preparing reports, coordinating forecast processes (AOP, Labor Resource Plan), monitoring indirect budgets, and supporting Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks such as maintaining WBS, ETC, EAC, and status reporting. Requires collaboration with Program Managers, CAMs, and Business Managers; involves travel up to 10%. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of financial experience, proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts, VBA), and US citizenship with active Secret-level clearance. Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and COBRA/COGNOS is preferred; on-site Linthicum, MD with a 9/80 schedule. For the government-facing role, security clearances and compliance with government contracting practices are key, along with strong cost control and forecast capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Business adjacent degree (Mathematics, Risk Management)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant financial work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation or VBA macros)
- US Citizenship Required
- Current, active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance is required
Desired Qualifications
