Business Management Analyst

Job Summary
Lead budgets and financial processes in the GM Global Commercial Resources (GCR) group: monitor and maintain monthly/yearly budgets, prepare divisional accruals and reports, and lead monthly budget reviews with Analysts, Managers, and Directors. Manage entries in SAP/FinTrack/Gemini, verify invoice alignment with policies, support procurement/purchasing activities, collaborate with Purchasing on procurements, track supplier invoices and PO changes, and lead training for managers and analysts on GM processes, forecasting, and data systems. Develop and refine processes to improve efficiency and alignment with Purchasing and Finance, and ensure accurate financial data and timely renewals/purchases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in finance, purchasing or program management (internships or co-ops not considered)
- Knowledge of SAP/Ariba reporting systems
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous open tasks
- General knowledge of Power BI and GM budget, purchasing & invoice processes
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Access and ability to learn advanced applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and accurate with financial data and tracking information
- Project management skills including anticipating issues, planning tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal cross-functional teams and external suppliers
