Job Summary
Represent clients in complex business and commercial litigation matters, managing cases through all phases. Conduct written discovery, take and defend depositions, and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings. Attend mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court appearances while assisting with trial preparation and strategy. Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to deliver strategic counsel and maintain outstanding client relationships. Requires a Tennessee Bar license, three years of relevant experience, and a hybrid schedule with three office days and two remote days weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Tennessee Bar license
- 3+ years of business or commercial litigation experience
- Experience with discovery, depositions, pleadings, and substantive motions
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Superior academic credentials
Desired Qualifications
- Trusts and estates litigation experience is a plus
