Job Summary
Lead Business Line Financial Strategy by serving as the financial leader for the Shapes (GEP and PE) business lines, partnering with managers to provide strategic guidance and develop deep operational understanding. Maintain full P&L responsibility for product line profitability, cost allocations, and reporting while performing detailed analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Drive Financial Analysis & Business Improvement by analyzing margins and KPIs to inform pricing strategies and commercial activities, collaborating with plant leadership on cost analyses and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with Manufacturing Operations to support product costing and measure the financial impact of operational projects. Lead Planning, Forecasting & Team Development by developing annual budgets and forecasts, supporting consolidated budgeting activities, and coaching a team of Managerial Accountants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, financial accounting, or manufacturing finance
- Previous Controller or Controlling experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, product costing, financial planning, and financial analysis
- Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L responsibility
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and technical accounting skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong business acumen, integrity, and a passion for continuous improvement
- Candidates should be located in or near Reading, PA or Scranton, PA
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, CMA, or MBA
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations
- Experience partnering with Commercial, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams
- Strong background in cost accounting, pricing strategy, KPI development, and financial performance analysis
