Job Summary
A core member of the C2 GPS career center team, the Business Solutions Liaison coordinates with local businesses to implement occupational and career services and programs for job seekers and matches employers with skilled workers to meet workforce needs. Responsibilities include advocating workforce services to chambers of commerce and similar entities, monitoring program effectiveness, conducting market research and data analysis to identify industry trends, planning and facilitating hiring events and job fairs, and developing positive relationships with hiring managers to proactively assess staffing needs. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED with a preferred undergraduate degree and related experience; a valid driver’s license is required, and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Undergraduate degree preferred and one year of relevant experience preferably in workforce development
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance with good driving record
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
