Job Summary
Strategic Analytics Associate in Business Banking Risk who generates data-driven insights to inform strategy development, implementation, and performance monitoring across the Business Banking portfolio. Transforms complex datasets into actionable management information, designs and tests strategies balancing growth and credit risk, and maintains audit-ready documentation. Supports the full credit lifecycle from acquisition and underwriting through portfolio management, collections, and recoveries; collaborates across functions to provide periodic reporting on metrics such as volumes, modification/settlement rates, and delinquency recovery performance; applies quantitative analytics techniques and communicates clear recommendations to management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience related to risk management or other quantitative field of work
- Master's degree with 3+ years of professional experience related to risk management or other quantitative field of work
- Background in statistics, econometric, or other quantitative field
- Advanced understanding of SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, or other decision tree software
- Ability to query large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management information
- Familiarity with risk analytic techniques and strong problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience delivering recommendations to management
