Job Summary
Own the brand's P&L, revenue, margins, and profitability while developing end-to-end business plans and strategies. Define positioning, growth roadmaps, and customer acquisition/retention tactics across performance marketing, creative, ecommerce, and technology teams. Direct shared functions to execute priorities, optimize the customer journey, and manage pricing, promotions, and unit economics. Track key metrics, analyze market trends, and present performance updates to senior leadership. This entrepreneurial role requires 4+ years of D2C or consumer brand experience and operates within a fast-changing environment in Mumbai.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in D2C, ecommerce, consumer brands, business management, growth, or related roles
- Proven experience owning or significantly contributing to P&L and business performance
- Strong understanding of revenue growth, profitability, margins, and unit economics
- Experience developing and executing brand and growth strategies
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition, retention, pricing, promotions, and merchandising
- Highly analytical approach with the ability to make decisions based on data rather than assumptions
- Comfortable working with AI-powered tools to improve productivity, research, analysis, and decision-making
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to influence teams without direct authority and drive execution through clarity and accountability
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and creating processes where none exist
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to move seamlessly between strategic planning and hands-on execution
- Strong commercial judgment, ownership mentality, and focus on measurable business outcomes
