Job Summary
Business Intelligence Support Engineer responsible for day-to-day Power BI incident triage, dashboard design, data modeling, and reporting enhancements. Collaborates with Senior BI Developers, writes SQL for curated datasets, maintains BI assets with Git, documents issues and playbooks, and contributes to agile sprints. Requires strong Power BI, DAX, Power Query, data warehousing concepts, and effective stakeholder communication; primarily based in Ballineen, Cork, Ireland. Desirable familiarity with SQL Server, Azure Data Warehouse, and Microsoft Fabric.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years’ experience delivering Power BI solutions
- strong DAX, Power Query, data modelling, and report design capability
- clear communicator able to translate technical detail for non-technical stakeholders
